God doesn’t use perfect women to change the world. He uses us.

That’s right – we, the everyday women who laugh with friends, cook chicken, commute to work, and hug children. We, the ladies who love Jesus but wish we read our Bibles more.

God has great plans for us. He wants to use us to transform our cities and the lives of the people around us. But many women don’t know how to make a difference in their communities. So what’s the secret?

Discipleship.

In The Sisterhood Secret: Changing the World Together, One Woman at a Time, Dr Levina Mulandi shares her two decades of experience discipling younger women. Dr Mulandi shares stories of how she has empowered 50 women to mentor younger women, guiding them to understand their identity, discern the purpose of their lives, and become more like Christ.

Full of Bible verses and practical tips, The Sisterhood Secret will empower you to begin sharing God’s Word and your life with younger sisters. No matter who you are, God wants to teach you the secret of sisterhood.

Dr Levina Mulandi has engaged in life-on-life discipleship relationships for the last twenty years, discipling almost 50 younger sisters in Nairobi, Kenya. These women have gone on to disciple other sisters and impact their city, whether in government, law, business, church, or non-profit initiatives.

She lectures at the International Leadership University and heads the Department of Practical Ministry, which disciples students and staff on campus to disciple others in their contexts throughout Africa. Having deeply invested in so many younger sisters, Mulandi's networks extend into the networks of each of these women. Her students, academic connections, and her husband (a pastor at a well-known Nairobi church) also provide interdenominational and international connections.

She holds an MA in Educational Studies from International Leadership University and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership at Bakke Graduate University, Seattle, WA.
