The Sisterhood Secret
Changing the World Together, One Woman at a Time
In The Sisterhood Secret: Changing the World Together, One Woman at a Time, Dr Mulandi casts a vision by telling stories of some of the 50 women in Nairobi, Kenya she has discipled. More than Bible study or a church program, Dr Mulandi shares how she empowers any woman to mentor younger women, guiding them to understand their identity, discern the purpose of their lives, and be transformed to be more like Christ.

Over the past two decades, Dr Levina Mulandi, has discipled women who are concerned about the state of their community, city, and nation, but do not know how to make a difference. They often do not realize that Christ has called them as his disciples to disciple others, and that they can find fulfilment through investing in younger women.
In her book, The Sisterhood Secret: Changing the World Together, One Woman at a Time, Dr Mulandi casts a vision by telling stories of some of the 50 women in Nairobi, Kenya she has discipled. More than Bible study or a church program, Dr Mulandi shares how she empowers any woman to mentor younger women, guiding them to understand their identity, discern the purpose of their lives, and be transformed to be more like Christ.
The women that Dr Mulandi has walked with have mentored dozens more through this life-on-life discipleship model which is a family relationship between sisters in Christ.

Dr Levina Mulandi has been in life-on-life discipleship relationships for the last twenty years, discipling almost 50 younger sisters in varied situations in Nairobi, Kenya. These women have gone on to disciple other sisters and impact their city, whether in government, law, business, church, or non-profit initiatives.
She lectures at the International Leadership University and heads the Department of Practical Ministry, which disciples students and staff on campus to disciple others in their contexts throughout Africa. Having deeply invested in so many younger sisters, Mulandi's networks extend into the networks of each of these women. Her students, academic connections, and her husband‚ pastoring at a well-known Nairobi church also provide interdenominational and international connections.
She holds an M.A. in Educational Studies from International Leadership University and a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership at Bakke Graduate University, Seattle, WA.
This is an amazing piece of literature! Simple, instructive, and altogether edifying. Levina has introduced a unique concept of sisterhood that is revolutionary. With illustrations from real life stories, herein is a practical demonstration of how intentional discipleship can transform lives – drawing fellow women from the dungeons to the pedestals of life. If you desire to impact the lives of others, here is your GPS for the journey. –Rev Dr David Oginde, Founder of The Catalead, Catalysing Leadership
