Marriage is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. A healthy marriage has the potential to greatly bless the husband and wife, enrich the church, raise up godly children, and model the gospel to the world. But helping others prepare for a thriving marriage can be hard work.
In A Pre-Marriage Counselling Handbook, Alan and Donna Goerz provide a detailed guide on how to build a successful marriage. The authors speak into a distinctly African context, tailoring their instructions for the unique challenges that Africans face.
As you read, you’ll learn how to approach topics such as:
- Getting to know your spouse
- Communication skills and conflict resolution
- Marriage vows
- What the Bible says about sex
- In-law relationships
- Financial home management
- Preparing a godly home for children
- Building a biblical foundation
Designed as a seminar-in-a-book, A Pre-Marriage Counselling Handbook will equip pastors and counselors to teach biblical pre-marriage classes and seminars. This two-volume set includes master versions of handouts, allowing teachers to copy class worksheets.
If you want to help equip others for a lifetime of honouring God through marriage, A Pre-Marriage Counselling Handbook is the ideal resource.
