The inaugural consultation, held on 26-28 November 2021 in Nairobi, explored how theology could drive Agenda 2063 and also indicate a direction for the future of theological education in Africa.
Organized by 14 major theological and Christian networks, this gathering brought together key leaders of African Christian networks, denominations, churches and influential theological institutions to explore ways theological education can be rendered relevant and contextual for sustainable church growth in its effort to serve the society. It enhanced the ability of theological and church leaders in Africa to support theological institutions in Africa in developing a pedagogy and curriculum that is truly African.
