George M. Mutuku Mark A. Olander

The Disipler’s Toolkit

This book takes people step by step from evangelism to establishing new believers in the faith, equipping them in spiritual disciplines and gifts, and sending them out to engage the world with the gospel.

Discipleship is a major concern for many Christians in African countries. The churches in Sub-Saharan Africa are growing numerically, primarily through evangelism. But evangelism is only the beginning of the disciple making process.

This book takes people step by step from evangelism to establishing new believers in the faith, equipping them in spiritual disciplines and gifts, and sending them out to engage the world with the gospel. It shows how to make disciples at a congregational, small group, and individual level, setting the foundations for a true disciple-making movement.

If you’re a disciple of Jesus, he’s told you to “go and make disciples of all nations.” It is a commission, not just a suggestion! Whether you are a lay person or in full-time ministry, this book will equip you to make disciples right where you are. You will:

  • Find answers to your questions
  • Enrich your evangelism efforts
  • Become a better Bible study leader, and more!
